I’m so excited to share with you the new Bible study by Cindy Bultema Life Full Walk Free: Set Apart in a Sin-Soaked World, apart of the inscribed series for women, by Thomas Nelson publishers. I had the unique opportunity to be apart of the launch team group for this wonderful Bible study!

The Bible study takes us along a journey through the book of 1 Corinthians in the New Testament. There are six chapters with an opportunity to memorize the scripture for the week and respond to application questions as well. Cindy really emphasizes the importance of not only reading and studying the Bible, but memorizing scripture as well so God’s words become embedded and alive in our hearts. I love how Cindy sets the stage for the study before we start. She goes into detail using maps and illustrating what the city of Corinth was like when Paul was teaching. The first chapter, “Welcome to Sin City,” says it all. The city of Corinth is compared to our modern day Las Vegas, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.

The current status of our world now, isn’t so far to what ancient Corinth was back then. The people of Corinth valued secular lifestyle which emphasized status and self-importance rather than God’s design for them. All throughout the study we learn from Paul’s messages, even though we live in a sin-soaked world, as Christians don’t be deceived by the ways of the world, but stand firm in God’s truth for us.

Cindy keeps it real, by sharing with us her struggles, letting us know we are not alone in this journey. First Corinthians is an important book to study because it shows us how powerful old habits can be.  Each week digs deeper into the root of the Corinthians sins. Just like the Corinthians, we too can be enslaved by old-habits and sins and not even be aware of it. One can’t help but do some self-examination.

Cindy truly gives a fresh approach to studying the Bible. She teaches directly from the Bible in her video teachings. She gives helpful ways to making what we learned stick, with helpful learning tools such as a cross what our lives looked like before Christ and what they looked like after we accepted Christ. This study really emphasizes not to ignore sin in our lives but to face sin head on, give it to God and allow His truth to cleanse and set us free. It’s all about our relationship with God, allowing His words to transform our hearts and lives. Live Full Walk Free is a great way to embark on this journey together, allowing God’s abundance to fill our lives so we can walk freely in His truth for us.

I would recommend this study for any women’s Bible study! It’s a great study to do with your girlfriends! Would you like to win your own copy!
