Bring on the Faith

Show me how to navigate Jesus.  How do I reach the impossible?  How do I conquer and divide the many detours or distractions along the way?  No matter what I face You are always there, even when there seems no way out or a plan in place.
Through prayer and ongoing daily conversations with You, Your Comfort and Peace replace any fears or doubts I may have.  I know we will face many trials, and the Faith that is established through these trials brings the Truth that You are Our Savior.
“Above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.”
Eph. 6:16
8 years ago, my husband and I lost everything, our house, our jobs, our dignity, and at times our hope.  I will never forget the day my husband arrived at my work and said our landlord is evicting us. I was in complete shock.  When we arrived at our house, all of our household items where being placed in the field across the street.  I was beyond devastated, but then the Holy Spirit arrived and a great strength came over me that would last for years to come.  Even though that day was emotional and even hard to put into a reality, it was the best thing for us at the time.  We had no idea where to go after we collected our items and put them in the moving van.  We didn’t know what we were going to tell our kids.  We didn’t know how we were going to pay our bills.  We didn’t know where our next meal would come from.  There was one thing for sure that day, we were going to navigate this situation with Jesus and we believed He would show us the way.
I can honestly say, Jesus will never leave us, nor forsake us.  He is always here.  There are circumstances in our lives that happen all the time.  It is how we approach these trials or celebrations that allows our Faith and Hope to grow in Him.  We are given the freedom to make our own choices, whether they are good or bad is up to us.  I am a teacher and I am constantly teaching children about cause and effect.  There were many things that led up to our eviction.  My husband and I were on a dangerous path of destruction.  It was Jesus that showed up that day.  In fact, He was always present, it was us that turned our backs on Him.  I thank Him for His everlasting love, and His patience.  I am in awe of Him.  He is the reason we have Hope, He is the reason we have Faith, He is the reason we SHOUT His name loudly.

“I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Heb. 13:5
If you are in need or struggling with something so hard that you are having a hard time finding hope, all you have to do is say, “Help Jesus.”  He will show up, it may not be the way you expected Him to show up, but He will teach you things and help you overcome so many obstacles!
His love is all you need!
In Him Always,

Erin
